Before using the electrical appliance, basic precautions should
always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Before using the appliance, check that the voltage of your
power outlet socket corresponds to that on the rating plate
on the bottom of the appliance.
3. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cable or if it
has malfunctioned or been damaged in any way.
4. Do not let the cable hang over the edge of a table or
counter or onto a hot surface.
5. Do not immerse the cable or the body of the mixer in water
as this would give rise to electric shock.
6. If the supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified
person in order to avoid a hazard.
7. Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is
being used near children or infirm persons.
8. Do not place an appliance on or near a heat source such
as a heater or heated oven.
9. Never eject beaters or dough hooks when the appliance is
in operation.
10. Do not leave the mixer unattended while it is operating.
11. Unplug the appliance from the power outlet socket while it
is not in use, before attaching or removing parts, and
before cleaning it.
12. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
13. Remove the beaters from the mixer before washing it.
14. Always check that the control is in the OFF state before
plugging the appliance into a power outlet socket. To
