Function check
Repositioning products are also subject to a natural ageing process. Inspect the product regularly and carefully, in
particular before each use. Ensure that the product is in sound condition and that the material and the seams are
not damaged. Check the product functionality by applying pressure to the Soft Turning Disc and ensure that the
material withstands the load. The smooth surface of the special sliding material allows for easy sliding and moving.
Check these properties – ideally in comparison to a new product.
Defective products may no longer be used!

Using the product
3.1
Indication and further use
Due to the wide range of possible applications, the indications cannot be tied to a specific clinical picture, since
Sliding Mats are suitable for all applications involving people who require assistance. Thanks to the reduced friction,
the capabilities of the patient can be put to use when Sliding Mats are used. The effort required on the part of the
user is reduced. The product can be used to support the following diagnoses:
Patients with lower extremity limitations and largely intact trunk stability.
This product may be reused.
Before reusing the product, be sure to perform a thorough function check (see item 2.2) as well as cleaning or
disinfection of the product. (see item 5)
