Tools:
#2 #3 Phillips head, Rubber mallet or hammer, Small flathead screwdriver, Allen
key, Box cutter.
Skill Set:
Good manual dexterity
Estimated Time:
5 to 6 minutes per chair
Steps:
1. Seat - 3min
Turn the chair upside down so the bottom is visible. Locate the twelve (4)
screw bumpers located underneath and unfasten. Remove the seat panel from the
chair frame.
2. Glides - 1min
If the chair has glides, still with the chair upside down, firmly grasp the glide
with pliers and wiggle upward until free. Repeat process for all four feet.
Sled Base - 1min
If the chair has sled bases, remove each sled base by knocking off the sled
from each leg of the frame using a mallet.
Casters - 2min
If the chair has casters, remove each caster by knocking off the caster from
the frame using a mallet.
3. Backrest - 1min
With the chair upside down, knock the underside of the backrest until it is
free from the arm.
Note:
The arms need not be removed from the frame. Both components of the chair are
metal.
