1. AS1000 Series Product Introduction

The AS1000 series are unmanaged low cost Gigabit Ethernet Power Over Ethernet switches.

Two models are available and consist of 8x 10/100/1000Mbps PoE+ Ports and 24x

10/100/1000Mbps PoE+ ports plus 2x 1000Mb SFP Ports. All copper ports are auto sensing,

auto MDI/X ports allowing easy connectivity to your existing switching infrastructure and

your PD PoE devices, such as IP Phones, Wireless Access Points and IP Video Cameras. All

ports support up to 30W of power, with the 8 port switch supporting 18.75W per port and

the 24 Port switch supporting 10.4W per port at full load. The AS1008-P supports up to

150W and the AS1026-P supports up to 250W in total.

With support for IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) the switch can reduce power

consumption by detecting the length of the cable and the operating load of the switch and

automatically adjust the signal intensity, reducing energy consumption and helping reduce

carbon emissions.

The AS1000 Series is the ideal solution for adding low cost Gigabit PoE capability to your

newly deployed IP PBX and IP Phone infrastructure.
