Note

The twisted-pair port on the MMC10GT/SP Media Converter
features Auto MDI/MDI-X when operating at 1Gbps and 10Gbps.
The port is configured as MDI or MDI-X when it is connected to an
end node. Consequently, you can use a straight-through twisted-pair
cable when connecting any type of network device to the twisted-
pair port on the media converter.
