VLAN ID
The VLAN ID property allows you to specify a VLAN ID on your network to
the adapter port. The adapter port adds the value of the VLAN ID to a
frame in the VLAN tag before transmitting the frame.
To change the VLAN ID value, do the following:
1. Access the Advanced Properties.
See “Accessing Advanced Properties” on page 58.
2. Select
VLAN ID
in the Property box.
The VLAN ID page is displayed as shown in Figure 47.

3. Specify a VLAN ID in the Value box.
The range of the value is from 0 to 4094. The default value is 0.
Leaving the VLAN ID set to 0 will result in no VLAN tag being added to
egress packets, even if VLAN is enabled. This field must be set to the
desired VLAN ID if VLAN headers are desired.
4. Click
OK
