Connecting the
Grounding Wire
with Bare Wire
To attach the grounding wire to the power supply with bare wire, perform
the following procedure:
1. Prepare an adequate length of solid or stranded 10 AWG grounding
wire by stripping it as shown in Figure 71.

2. Verify that the On/Off switch on AT-SBxPWRSYS1-80 DC Power
Supply is in the Off position. Refer to Figure 67 on page 113.
3. Use an 8 mm wrench to remove the grounding post nut and washer,
shown in Figure 68 on page 114, from the grounding post on the power
supply.
4. Wrap the grounding wire clockwise around the base of the grounding
post, as shown in Figure 72.
