15. If you put the hard drive bay back in place, verify the ribbon cable is 

clear of the 2.5” hard drive bay.

Note

You may need to bend the cable near the SFP board to prevent the 

hard drive bay from interfering.

16. Put the system’s cover back in place and secure it with the screw 

removed in step 3.

17. Power the system on.

When the system returns to proper operation, the network adapter is 

fully installed. Next, connect the network cables. See “Connecting a 

Network Cable” on page 33.
