4. Hold the handlebar together with the engine stop lever, place your
foot on the deck and tilt the machine towards you.
This will take the load off the engine making it easier to start.
Pull the starter grip lightly until you feel resistance, then pull
briskly.
Return the starter grip gently.
Do not allow the starter grip to snap back against the engine.
Return it gently to prevent damage to the starter.
6. If the choke lever was moved to the CLOSED position to start the
engine, gradually move it to the OPEN position as the engine
warms up.
Start at the outside boarder of the lawn and move up and down as you
would with a conventional walk behind machine.
Start at the top and move the hovertrim from side to side while
slowly and carefully moving down the slope.
Caution:
Try to keep the hovertrim moving to reduce excessive
loading on the engine.
