The CTRL-V Function Frame

The CTRL-V function is used to update variables that are embedded 
within messages. The value of the variable number will determine 
which variable register will be updated in the display. If no display 
address is used, it will update all displays with the variable data. 
Figure 9.2 shows the format for updating variables and Table 9.2 
shows the acceptable values for the CTRL-V function.
