Renew the IP Address of a

To renew (reset) the IP address of a 1794-AENx module:

Install BOOTPServer Software

•

Set Up the Hardware

•

Enter the New Configuration

Send the Configuration

Save the Relation List

Install BOOTPServer Software

To renew the IP address of a 1794-AENx module, use BOOTPServer
software from Rockwell Automation. You can find the software at
either of these locations:

•

RSLogix 5000 software CD,

ENU \ TOOLS \ BootP Utility

folder,

BootPServer.exe

•

Set Up the Hardware

1.

Cycle the power to the module.

2.

Write down the Ethernet address of the module.

3.

Connect your computer to the same network subnet as the
module.
