Setting clock and patching signals

Use the SQ

I/O

screen to patch signals to or from the I/O Port.

Use the

Setup / Audio / Audio Sync

screen to select the clock source for the

mixer. Typically, this is set to Internal, though can be switched to I/O Port if

connecting directly to another desk i.e. when connecting to a dLive GigaACE

option card or another SLink port.



There should only be one

clock ‘master’ in a system.



Different protocols

The built-in SLink port and the port on the SLink Option Card are independent

from one another and automatically switch between 3 modes. Each port can be

in either dSnake/ME, DX or GigaACE mode.



You cannot run two different protocols on the same port

at once.
