How To - Setup The iPad App

Tab Bar Icons:

Settings
Download the latest alien
DVR app from the app store,
simply search for
‘alien DVR’
,
download and install.
(On fi rst opening the app you
will get a brief guide covering
the main features and gestures.)

Click the ‘
+’
to add a new
device. Enter the following
details and tap the ‘
Save
’ icon
when done.
Name:
(choose device name)
Server:
(enter a fi xed IP address or
domain name)
Port:
(default 8000)
Username:
(default ‘admin’)
Password:
(default ‘12345’)

Port forwarding and
AlienDDNS must be
setup before the iPad
app will work.
The iPad app allows you to
remotely monitor and control your
DVR whilst on the go & boasts
remote viewing, remote playback,
remote record, PTZ control and
relay control.
In the app tap the ‘
Settings
’ icon
on the left and make sure you’re
in the ‘
Devices
’ sub-menu.
