Avoid placing wet lids or pots on the cast iron heating plate as this may
cause it to rust.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1.
After each use and before cleaning, unplug from the appliance and let the
appliance cool down completely.
2.
Wipe the outside with a slightly moistened cloth ensuring that no moisture,
oil or food residue enters the openings of the device.
3.
Do not clean the surface of the device with any abrasive scouring pad ort
steel wool, or abrasive or deteriorating cleansers as this will damage the
finish of your appliance.
4.
Clean your cast iron heating plate using only an appropriate, specialized
product. Do not use scouring agents.
5.
Caution: Neither water nor steam should be permitted to penetrate any
openings of the device, and no kind of steam jet cleaning equipment should
be used.
6.
To protect against fire, electric shock or personal injury, NEVER
immerse cord, plug, or any part of your hot plate in water or any
other liquid.
This product is in strict conformity with all the valid directives of
European Union applying on this type of electrical appliances.
Protecting the environment
Should you find one day that your appliance needs to be replaced or if
it is of no further use to you, think of the protection of the
environment:
1)
Do not dispose your appliance along with the rest of the public
waste (this is also the meaning of the shown recycling sign).
2)
Contact your Public Authorities and they will instruct you of the
recycling centers to which your appliances must be disposed.
3)
Correct disposal of your appliance helps the protection of the
environment as well as the recycling of the appliance components.
4)
The electrical appliances due to their construction materials, if not
correctly disposed, may lead to environmental and furthermore
health hazards.
