1. Can’t boot
1. Check the voltage of PIN 1 of IC101(7805),the voltage should be equal to 9V +/- 15% and the
voltage of PIN 3 should be equal to 5V +/-10% ,if not, check the relevant circuit elements.
2. Check the IC102 (LM1117) in the main board, the pin 2 should be equal to 3.3V+/-10%. If not,
check the relevant circuit elements or replace the IC102
3. Check the Crystal oscillator X201, measure the signal of pin 45 in the IC201, the frequency is equal
to 6.0MHz, if not; check the Crystal oscillator and capacitors.
4. Check the signal 3.3V and /RESET, when power on, the signal of /RESET will rise to 3.3v, it is
delayed 500ms than the signal of 3.3V, and will always maintain 3.3v, if not, check the relevant circuit
elements of IC204.
5. Check the Welding of R222, measure the signal of pin 48/101 in IC201, when power on, it keeps to
low level.
6. Check the signals of address and data, also the ROM_CS signal.
7. Replace the flash memory(IC202)
8. If above is ok, replace the main chip.(IC201)
2. No sound
It may be caused by the AMP line or main chip A2.
If there is no sound when striking drum, but playing the pattern, the error may be in the line of drum.
