Operation
WARNING!
Remove the battery pack before attempting to replace string spool.
-This trimmer uses 0.055 in. (1.4mm) diameter round nylon line. During use, the tips of
the lines will become frayed and worn, restarting the machine willl feed and trim a
fresh length of line.
-When no line is fed, remove the battery pack and turn the machine upside-down so
that you are looking down at the spool cap.
-Depress the tabs and remove the spool cap from the spool housing in the trimmer
head.
-Grasp empty spool retainer with one hand and pull it out.
-Unfasten the line end of new string spool and guide the line into the eyelet, push the
spool onto the head and rotate the spool slightly until it’s fully inserted.
-Align the tabs on the spool cap with the slots in the housing.
-Push the cap onto the housing until it snaps securely into place.
WARNING!
To avoid tool damage; if the cutting line protrudes beyond the line cut-off blade, cut
it off so that it just reaches the blade
.
