•  Stop using the device and remote control if you cannot close

the battery compartment securely, and keep the device and re-
mote control well away from children.

•  Before inserting the batteries, check that the contacts in the

device/remote control and on the batteries are clean and, if
necessary, clean them.

•  Always use new batteries of the same type. Never use old and

new batteries together.

•  Pay attention to the polarity (+/–) of the device and remote

control when inserting the batteries.

•  There is a risk of explosion if batteries are replaced incorrectly!

Only replace batteries with those of the same or an equivalent
type.

•  Never try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Risk of

explosion!

•  Never expose the batteries to excessive heat (such as direct

sunlight, fi re or similar).

•  Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Strong direct heat can dam-

age batteries. Do not expose the device to sources of intense
heat.

•  Never short-circuit batteries.

•  Never throw batteries into a fi re.

•  Remove leaking batteries from the device immediately. Clean

the contacts before inserting new batteries. Battery acid can
cause chemical burns!

•  Always remove fl at batteries from the device. Flat batteries

tend to leak easily.

•  If the device is not going to be used for long periods, remove

the batteries.
