− Do not operate the pump with an external timer or separate
tele-control system.
− Do not immerse the pump, the

cord or

plug in
water or other liquids.
− Never touch the
power
plug with damp hands.
− Never pull the
power
plug out of the socket by the
power
cord;
instead, always do so by taking hold of the
power
plug.
− Never use the
power
cord as a carrying handle.
− Keep the pump,
power
plug and
power
cord away from open
flames and hot surfaces.
− Lay the
power
cord so that it does not pose a tripping hazard.
− Do not kink the
power
cord and do not lay it over sharp edges.
− Only use the pump in indoor areas. Never use it in wet rooms
or in the rain.
− Never store the pump in such a way that it could fall into a bath
or wash basin.
− Never reach to retrieve an electrical device if it has fallen in
water. In such a case, immediately disconnect the
power
plug from the socket.
− Make sure that children do not insert any objects into the
pump.
− Always switch the pump off and pull the
power
plug out of
the socket when you are not using the pump, when you are
cleaning it or in the event of a fault.
