Operating instructions
Before you start using Alde Voice Control, make sure you have read through all of the operating instructions.
Alde Voice Control allows the user to control their Alde Heating System by voice commands. Each
command consists of two parts: a wake-up phrase and an activation command, see pages 12–13.
In order to perform certain actions on the heating system using voice commands, Alde Voice Control
must be activated. Always start by saying the wake-up phrase: “Alde listen”, and then follow this
immediately with the command you want the system to carry out, e.g. “Hot water on”.
Use a normal conversational tone at a distance of at least 1 metre from the microphone.
Once the microphone has picked up the phrase “Hello Alde”, it will light up red and wait for a com-
mand. Once the microphone has picked up your command, the red light will go out. If the microphone
cannot pick up your command, the red light will go out after a time. You must then start again with the
wake-up phrase “Alde listen” before giving a command.
To prevent the Alde control panel from accepting a voice command from outside the vehicle when
there is no one authorised to operate it inside the vehicle, you should use the command “Alde listen,
Disable Alde Voice”. To enable Alde Voice Control again, press the touch display or the menu button
on the Alde control panel.
On the double reference page 26-27, there is a table of all available voice commands that can
be used for various Alde Heating System models.
Which voice commands will work for me?
To know which voice commands are available for Alde Voice Control, you need to know which version of the
Alde control panel you have installed in the vehicle. You can see hints for model identification on page 21.
However, if Alde Voice Control has been factory-fitted to your vehicle, you have the latest version and
all commands are available.
Prevent unauthorised use of the heating system
Disable the voice control when you leave the vehicle so as to prevent the Alde control panel from
accepting commands from outside the vehicle.
