Reading your messages
(1) To deactivate the audible signal (see page 54).

The messages are stored in your SIM card and classified in two
groups: unread messages and read messages.
When a new message is received, a screen message “Do you want
to read your new messages?” and the
icon are displayed and
an audible signal (1) is emitted.
The
icon disappears when all new events (messages, calls, ...)
have been consulted.
