Charging the battery
Plug the charger into an appropriate electrical outlet and place the terminal into
its charger slot.
Basic charger unit provides:
n
battery recharging
n
a base for the station
Recommendations for charging the battery:
n
to become fully operational, a new battery must be charged for at least 2 hours
and will be fully charged after 5 hours (terminal off)
n
new batteries require 10 charge/discharge cycles to achieve full capacity
n
to maintain maximum battery capacity, discharge it completely at least every
two months; to do so, use your terminal without placing it in its charger until
the low charge indication appears
n
exhausted units should be disposed of following environmentally appropriate
procedures
