Basic Call Handling
Make a call
Dial number and press button to send (9 for
outside line)
Dial by name
Press button and type in 1
st
3 letters of the
person you want to speak to using the number
pad, use to search for name then
press . To dial press the key (The
search is predictive e.g. search for South, press
book and then 7, 6, 8 and spell out the name, the
system will find the entry for you)
Answer a call
Press the button, screen will show in
conversation
End a call
Press button
Hold a call
Press button. This
will put caller on hold.
Retrieve a held call
Press button and the call will recall back to
you by ringing, press button to answer
Transfer a call
Dial extension number, this will automatically put
the caller on hold, when you are ready to transfer
the caller through press using the navigation
keys scroll to in the
display and to complete the transfer press the
key

Further Telephone Features
Redial last number
Access the menu by pressing the key. Using
the key, scroll down to the ‘Redial’ option
and press key. This will list the last number
dialled. To call the number, press the key
again.
3 Way Conference Call
Receive / make a call, dial 3

party (Internal or
external), when 3
rd
party answers, introduce the
call. Press the key and scroll through the
menu to the ‘Conference’ option. Once you high
lighted this, press the key to activate the
conference.
Exit Conference Call
Hang up
Call pick up
Press the down arrow select “pick up” from
the menu list
press the ok key
followed by again. Select “set”
and dial the extn number of the phone that you
wish to pick up
Activate touch tone dialling
When you have dialled a number, press “Menu”
scroll down and when ‘MF Code’
appears, press the OK key to activate it.
Customising Your Telephone
Lock keypad
Press the key and scroll down to ‘lock keys’
and then press OK again
Unlock keypad
Press the ‘padlock key followed by the hash
key
