Inbox

All received messages (read and unread) are stored in the same Inbox. 

When 

viewing

your messages, you will find the following status icons, depending on the type of message:

unread text message (SMS/MMS/e-mail), 

read text message (SMS/MMS/e-mail), 

unread e-mail

with attachment, 

read e-mail with attachment, 

message reception in progress, 

message sending

in progress.

The following icons are added to the master icons according to type: 

attachment, 

MMS attachment,

sound attachment, 

copyrighted data.

Receiving and reading SMS/MMS/e-mail

When you receive a new message, the following message is displayed: “

You have received a new

message!

”, or you may have a specific alert for each type of message received (E-mail, Message), a beep

sounds, the 

icon shows up, a line with the number of messages appears on the screen. Select this line

and press 

to read it directly from the main screen. To modify or deactivate the audible signal, see page

50.

You have two ways of managing the reception of MMS: 
- National (in your network)
- International (if abroad)

For both, you can choose to “

Always download

” or “

Always defer

” (we recommend choosing “

Always

defer

” when abroad).
