Move contacts
Move the contacts you've selected from your phone to your SIM card,
or from your SIM card to your phone.

Delete all the contacts from your phone or SIM card.

Use the messaging feature to send and receive text (SMS) messages.
3.1 Write messages

From the Home screen, press the
Centre soft key
and select
Messaging
.

Left soft key
to access

Enter the text of the message.
•
When finished, press

Send to

select
Enter number
or
Add from Contacts
to add recipients.
3.2 How to type a message
When in edit mode, the default input method is English. You can press
the Keypad to change the input method to access numbers 1,2,3... or
long press the corresponding key to get the number you want.
•
For normal text input, press a number key, 2-9, repeatedly until
the desired character is displayed. If the next letter you want
is located on the same key as the present one, press the key
repeatedly until the next cursor is displayed.
•
Press the
key to switch between "abc--> ABC--> 123" modes.
•
To insert a punctuation mark or special character, press the
key.
•
To enter a space, press the
key.
•
If you want to delete any previously typed letters or symbols,
press the
Right soft key
to delete them one by one.
An SMS message of more than a certain number of characters
(the number of characters depends on your language) will be
charged as several SMS. Specific letters (accented) will
increase the size of the SMS, this may cause multiple SMS to
be sent to your recipient.

- SMSC address
You can view and edit your SMSC address.
- Validity period
You can set your message validity period as 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours,
1 day, 3 days, 1 week or Maximum.
