CRT-300 Basics
11
When the battery is fully charged, unplug the charger from 115VAC then
from the CRT-300. Replace the accessory compartment cover. Before
beginning testing, cycle CRT-300 power off then on.
The life of the lithium ion battery depends on how well it is charged. Do not
store the CRT-300 in a discharged condition.
When the battery is low, warnings indicate remaining test time. At full
discharge, the unit turns off. You can access data in temporary storage after
recharging. If you use a unit needing recharge, it will shut down without
warning. If you continue to use the unit in this state, data could be lost. To
prolong battery life, the CRT-300 shuts down if inactive for ten minutes.

Using the Memory Card Drive
The CRT-300 stores data on an 8 megabyte memory card. Cards up to 128M
are available. Use the card to transfer cell data to a computer for analysis,
transfer firmware upgrades from computer to Cellcorder, back up and restore
calibration constants, and store site setup. Use Windows Explorer
to
access the card drive and data.
C
onnect the memory card reader/writer drive to a USB port on the computer
and follow manufacturer's instructions to install the driver software. Do not
use the Microsoft Windows driver. If a USB connection is not available,
contact Albér for alternate drives.
Insert the memory card into the computer or CRT-300 drive to read or write
data. You may insert or remove the card from the CRT-300 with power on or
off, but the CRT-300 yellow Smart Media Card LED must not be lit.
CAUTION
: Do not insert or remove the memory card when the Cellcorder
Smart Media Card LED is lit.
