Operation
Fitting Batteries:
The FM transmitter can be powered either
by your car using the cigarette lighter
adaptor or by internal batteries.
To fit batteries remove the battery
compartment cover on the back of the
Transmitter and insert 2x AAA batteries
(not supplied) as shown - ensure that the
positive (+) and negative (-) symbols on
the batteries match the symbols inside the
battery compartment.
Replace the battery cover.
Connections:
If using the cigarette lighter adaptor, first
connect the adaptor lead to the base of the
Transmitter and plug the adaptor into the
cigarette lighter socket.
Next uncoil the 3.5mm jack lead from
around the Transmitter and plug the 3.5mm
plug into the headphone socket of your
audio source.

Setting the time:
When in standby mode and not transmitting to any FM stations, the FM
Transmitter displays a clock on its display. To set the time:
1. Turn the unit on by pressing the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds, until
the display lights up.
2. Press and hold the SET button until the hour digits starts flashing.
Use the buttons to change the hour.
3. Press SET to set the hour. The minute digits will start flashing.
4. Use the buttons to change the minutes. Press SET to confirm the time.
Transmitting Your Music:
The Wireless FM Transmitter can broadcast on any frequency available
on your FM radio.
To play your music through your radio:
1. Turn on your radio and scan the FM stations to find an empty
frequency. Empty frequencies will be any that have white noise or
hissing sounds.
2. Make sure the display on your FM Transmitter is on. Press ON/OFF to
switch the digits displayed from clock to frequency display.
3. Use the buttons to select the same frequency as displayed on your
radio, your music will be broadcast to this frequency.
4. Press and hold M1, M2 or M3 for 3 seconds to set your frequency.
This will allow you to save the empty frequency under that button for
future use. This frequency channel will be displayed at the top of the
display.
5 Use the controls on your portable music player as normal to play your
music. The volume can be controlled via your portable music player or
your radio, as desired.
