• When served, remove the glass carafe (15) from the warming plate (7) and pour the coffee carefully to ensure that
hot coffee is not spilled. Hold the glass carafe (15) by its handle only.
Switching off coffee maker
• After use, press the
on/off
button (10). The operation indicator (9) turns off. The appliance is now switched off.
• Let the coffee maker cool for at least five minutes between brewing cycles.
Note:
The coffee maker switches off automatically after 40 minutes inactivity.
Setting the current time
• This coffee maker is equipped with a clock timer, enabling you to brew coffee at a pre-set time. To use this
function, the current time has to be set first.
• Connect the power plug (6) to a suitable electrical outlet. The display (8) lights up blue with “
” flashing
continuously on it (fig. 1).
• Press the
Set
button (13). “
” stops flashing and becomes steady on the display (8) (fig. 2).

button (12) repeatedly to set the hour (fig. 3).

Programming coffee maker
• Fill in water and ground coffee ( Making coffee).
• Set the current time ( Setting the current time).
• Press and hold the

” re-appears on the display (8) (fig. 2). Now, input the time at which you
want the brewing to get started.

button (12) repeatedly to set the hour (fig. 5).

button (14). The operation indicator (9) lights up blue, indicating that the appliance is in stand-by
mode.
• At a pre-set time, the coffee maker switches on automatically to brew coffee. The operation indicator (9) changes
from blue to red at that time.
• The programmed time can be checked any time by shortly pressing the
Set
button (13).

Switching off program function prematurely:
Press the

button (10). The operation indicator (9)turns
off. The programmed time is saved in the memory so that you can re-activate the program function at a later time.
