CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Humidifier belt
•
The humidifier belt (12) needs to be checked and cleaned regularly, according to the intensity of use and the
surroundings.
A clogged humidifier belt reduces the quantity of circulating air and the efficiency of the appliance.
•
The following cleaning intervals are recommended:

Every 1 to 2 weeks
Remove filter mesh (7) and humidifier belt/frame (12). Clean all parts.
Every 1 to 4 months
Clean the humidifier belt (12) thoroughly once the belt appears grey.

Push in tabs and remove
filter mesh.

Loosen the screw and
remove the frame.
•
Removing the filter mesh (7): Push in the tabs on the filter mesh’s top. The mesh can now be removed.
•
Loosen the screw of the frame (12) using a Phillips screwdriver.
•
Pull out the filter frame (12) by its handle.
•
Place the frame (12) upside down, onto an even surface. Remove the humidifier belt (12) out of its frame by
pushing in the tabs (located on the sides) and simultaneously pulling out the belt.
•
Remove debris from filter mesh (7) /humidifier belt (12), for example by hand or with a soft brush. If required,
use a warm water and soap solution and rinse off under running water.
•
Reinsert filter mesh (7) /humidifier belt (12) once they are completely dry.
•
To reinsert the humidifier belt (12) into the frame, push it in evenly until it clicks into place.
•
Reinsert frame (12) with humidifier belt on the rear of the appliance.
•
Secure the frame (12) with the previously removed screw.
•
Reinsert the filter mesh (7).
