5d. Install
the deadbolt face plate.
MECHANICAL KEY OVERRIDE
To unlock and enter the protected door with the mechanical
key:
Insert the key into the keyway
Using light pressure, turn the key to the left (counter-
clockwise) while also turning the turnpiece until they
both engage, allowing the turnpiece to unlock the lock.
Note:
The turnpiece may have to be turned up to
180 degrees (to its vertical position) to enable the key to
unlock the lock.
