Installation

Carry out assembly according to the accompany-
ing installation instructions.
NOTE
The appliance is not allowed to be oper-
ated unless it has been fully assembled.

COMMISSIONING/
DECOMMISSIONING
5.1
Charging the rechargeable battery (01)
The rechargeable battery is partially charged.
Fully charge the rechargeable battery before us-
ing it for the first time. The rechargeable battery
can be charged in any charge status. Interrupting
charging does not damage the rechargeable bat-
tery.
NOTE
For detailed information, heed the separ-
ate operating instructions for the re-
chargeable battery and for the charging
unit.
5.2
Inserting and pulling out the
rechargeable battery (02)
Inserting the rechargeable battery (02/A)
1. Push the rechargeable battery (02/1) into the
rechargeable battery slot (02/2) from above
until it engages.
Pulling out the rechargeable battery (02/B)
1. Press and hold the unlock button (02/3) on
the rechargeable battery (02/1).
2. Pull out the rechargeable battery (02/1).

Switching the appliance on and off (03)
Switching on the appliance
1. Insert the safety key (03/1) in the opening
(03/2) and turn to I (03/A).
Switching off the appliance
1. Turn the safety key (03/1) to 0 and remove it
(03/B).

OPERATION
6.1
Checking the charge status of the
rechargeable battery, "Motion
Detection" (04, 05)
There is a charge status indicator (04/1) on the
top of the rechargeable battery. This activates
automatically for a few seconds if the re-
chargeable battery (04/A) is shaken. The re-
chargeable battery can also be installed in the
appliance. In this case, you must move the com-
plete lawnmower gently back and forth to activate
the charge status indicator (04/B).
1. Shake the rechargeable battery or move the
complete lawnmower gently back and forth.
The LEDs of the charge status indicator light
according to the charge status of the re-
chargeable battery.

The green LED for the current charge status
flashes during charging. The green LEDs for the
low charge states light permanently.
6.2
Setting the cutting height (06)
The appliance is fitted with a central, 7-stage cut-
ting height adjustment.
