Pushing blowing tube onto the lead
blower (03)
1. Align blowing tube (03/1) with fitting (03/2) of
the leaf blower until longitudinal groove (03/3)
and cam (03/4) are facing each other.
2. Push the blowing tube completely onto the fit-
ting (03/a).
3. Turn the blowing tube through 90° (03/b) until
the cam engages.

Charging the rechargeable battery
Observe the temperature range for charging, see

Inserting and removing the
rechargeable battery (04, 05)
IMPORTANT! Danger of damage to the re-
chargeable battery.
If the rechargeable battery
is left in the appliance after use, it may damage
the rechargeable battery.
■
Immediately after use, pull the rechargeable
battery out of the appliance and store in a
frost-protected area.
■
Only insert the rechargeable battery in the
appliance immediately before starting work.
Inserting the rechargeable battery
1. Push rechargeable battery (04/1) into battery
slot (04/2) until it engages (04/a).
Removing the rechargeable battery
1. Press and hold the unlock button (05/1) on
the rechargeable battery (05/2).
2. Pull out the rechargeable battery (05/a).

Before switching on the appliance, check that
all appliance parts are firmly attached.

Switching the appliance ON and OFF
(06, 07)
CAUTION! Risk of injury and damage to
property.
Persons or animals can be injured and
soiled by the air jet and blown away material.
■
It is essential to make sure that the air jet and
blown away material does not negatively af-
fect persons or animals or damage objects.
■
Note the wind direction.
NOTE
Never work against the wind to en-
sure that you and persons behind you are not
soiled.
Switching on the appliance
1. Stand securely.
2. Press ON/OFF switch (07/1).
Increasing the blowing speed
1. Press and hold the turbo button (06/1). The
appliance blows stronger.
2. Release the turbo button. The appliance
blows normally again.
Switching off the appliance
1. Release the ON/OFF switch. The appliance
turns off.

Checking the charge status of the
rechargeable battery
The charge status indicator (01/7) is located on
the control panel.
It has three segments. The segments light up or
flash, depending on the battery charge status.
Segment
Battery charge level
3 segments lit:
Rechargeable battery
fully charged.
2 segments lit:
Rechargeable battery
2/3 charged.
1 segment lit:
Rechargeable battery
1/3 charged.
1 segment flashing:
Rechargeable battery
almost flat. The appli-
ance will switch off
shortly.

Angle the machine forwards slightly, and
walk forwards slowly.
