2.4 Safety and protective devices

2.4.1 Child protection (13)
The drill hole (5 mm) at the motor safety switch is
intended for a padlock* (13/1). The padlock pre-
vents the appliance from being started inadvert-
ently.
* Not included in the scope of supply.
2.4.2 Guard plate
Protects the operator from the rotating cutting line
and objects flying out.
2.4.3 Protective bracket
Protects plants and persons from the rotating cut-
ting line. Also the cutting line is protected against
excessive wear on walls during trimming.
