9 HELP IN CASE OF MALFUNCTION

Malfunction Cause Remedy
Motor does not run. The power supply is switched
off at the key switch. Switch the power supply on at the key
switch.
Rechargeable battery missing
or not seated correctly. Insert the rechargeable battery correctly.
Rechargeable battery is flat. Charge the rechargeable battery.
Cutting blade is blocked.

Free the blade of obstructions.

Start the lawnmower on short grass.
Cables or switches are defec-
tive. Do not operate the tool! Contact an AL-KO
service centre.
Engine is losing
power. Rechargeable battery is flat. Charge the rechargeable battery.
Cutting blade is blunt. Have the cutting blades sharpened at an
AL-KO service centre.
Too much grass in the ejector.

Remove the grass.

Clean the impact flap.
Motor stops during
mowing. Cutting blade is blunt. Have the cutting blades sharpened at an

Motor is overloaded. Switch off the rechargeable battery lawn-
mower, set on level ground or shorter grass
and restart.

ficiently Grass is wet. Allow the lawn to dry.
