Read  this  documentation  before  starting  up

the machine. This is a precondition for safe

working and flawless operation.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The various hitch components of the drawbar con-

nect the tractor vehicle to the trailer frame. The

gross vehicle weight rating is stamped onto the

type plate attached to the drawbar.
The gross weight rating of the trailer is not allowed

to exceed this value.

Designated use

The  drawbar  is  only  allowed  to  be  used  when

completely  assembled  and  after  having  been

tested. It must be used for connecting the trailer

to the towing vehicle.
Any other use is regarded as not in accordance

with the intended use, and is prohibited.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

CAUTION!
Danger!

Always  secure  the  trailer  with  chocks

prior to performing any maintenance and

care jobs.

The attachment to the vehicle must be in ac-

cordance  with  the  requirements  for  height-

adjustable landing gear (support wheel) with

an imposed load greater than 50 kg, acc. to

94/20/EC, Appendix VII, or ECE R55-01 Ap-

pendix 7.
Pay attention to any body builder guidelines

that are provided.
The handbrake lever is not allowed to make

contact in an emergency. Pay attention to the

corresponding clearances (4)!

For trailer parking is a hand brake lever installed.

Applying the handbrake

1. Always  pull  the  handbrake  firmly  past  the

dead centre point.
If the trailer is uncoupled from the towing ve-

hicle, then the following must be done:

the parking brake must be engaged.
the trailer must be secured with two addi-

tional chocks.

When  parking  or  laying  up  the  vehicle/trai-

ler combination, engage the trailer's parking

brake.
