Program

: Selects the programme number you wish to edit.

Sound System

: Selects the “Sound System” Press either   or   select from “I”, “B/G”, “D/K” or 

“L/L”. In the UK “I” is used. In Western Europe “B/G”, Eastern Europe (D/K). “L” is used in some 
areas of France.

Color System

: Selects “PAL”,”SECAM” or “AUTO.  Select “PAL” with the   or   buttons  for UK use.

SKIP

: If a station is not wanted, either weak or poor, select ON. You will not then be able to select 

that station with the 

CH+/CH-

 buttons. You will still be able to select with the numeric buttons.

AFT. This is used to “Fine Tune” a station that may have slight picture or sound distortion. When 
you have adjusted, press “ENTER” to store the new settings.

Manual Search

: You may need to add a new channel without upsetting the other stations. Select 

the Program number you wish to locate the new station. Use the   or    buttons to search for the new 
station. When tuned in, press “ENTER” to store the new station.

Program Label

: To Label each Station, select the station with NO menu’s open (BBC1) . 

Enter the SETUP menu, and select PROGRAM LABEL, press     A  Blue text box will be displayed. 
Use the 

CH+/CH-

 buttons to select the Letters and Numbers of the first letter (B) use the    button 

to select the next letter location, again using the 

CH+/CH-

 buttons to select the letter required (B), 

When all the letters and numbers are selected (BBC1) press 

ENTER

. To Name the next station, 

repeat the directions above until all the stations are named.

Program Edit

:  In “Auto Tune” the stations are stored in 

received order, thus BBC1 will not be in Location 1.
To move the stations into the correct order i.e. 1 (BBC1), 
2 (BBC2), 3(ITV), 4(CH4), 5 (CH5) enter the SETUP menu 
and select PROGRAM EDIT.
Press the    button to see the Program Edit box  >.  Use 
the CH- button to locate the BBC1 programme, “ It is 
useful to have a current TV programme Guide to hand”.
When BBC1 has been located press the    button, the 
Yellow box will move sideways “right” approx 10mm.  
Use the CH+ button to move the Yellow box upwards to 
(001). Press the    button, the yellow box will then move 
“left” back. Press “ENTER” to store the move. Continue 
the directions until all the Stations are in the correct order.
