Check the power plug is in 
firmly and connected to a 
power supply.
If batteries are fitted ensure 
they are new and fitted the 
correct way round 

No radio operations but Led lit 

Function switch set to CD 

Switch to Radio or place a disc 
into the player

No or noisy radio stations on
MW

Poor signal

Rotate the case of the radio as 
the internal aerial is 
directional. The externding rod 

No or noisy stations on FM

Poor signal

Extend and rotate the rod 
aerial

Dirty or damaged discs.

Carefully clean the disc and
place in the player label side
up.

Not playing discs

Dirty Laser lens

Carefully clean the laser lens
with a cotton bud
