SYNC a GROUP of MV720p - HD ’s:
Use th is mode i f you want a gr oup of MV720p t o p la y i n s y n c toge ther t o crea te a s i ng l e v i deo
presentation.
To sy n c t oge ther a gr oup of MV720p-HD’ s, you need 1pc IN6 and the s y n c board(s). Plea se re fer t o the
IN6 section b e low.
The IN6 has a 4 pole d ip sw itc h located a t the rear . Sw itch i s OF F i f it i s i n UP pos ition a nd ON i f i n
DOWN pos it ion.
The IN6 is in sy nc m o de if switc h #3 ( JP3) is ON (switc h is in d o w n p osi ti o n ).
W he n IN6 is i n SYN C MODE, it w i l l automat ica l l y se nd SYNC co m m a nd 90 seconds a fter p oweri ng up.
Sw itche s 1 and 2 of the dip sw itc h are for the s y n c com m a nd de l a y.
JP1and JP2 are OF F ……… S y nc com m a n d w i l l b e issu ed ev er y 30 m i n utes.
JP1 is ON, JP2 i s OF F ……… S y nc co m m a nd w i l l b e is sued e ver y 1 hour.
JP1 is O FF, JP2 is ON ……… S y nc co m m a nd w i l l b e is sued e ver y 2 hours.
JP1 is ON, JP2 i s ON ……… Sy n c com m a nd w i l l be i ssu ed ev er y 3 hours.
The s y n c board itse l f does not have a n y sw itc hes or set ting s.
No te: The MV720p’s are s y n c based on its i nterna l ti m e fu n ction not the SMPTE clock.

To expand the s y n c netwo rk, add Sy nc board on l y. You d o no t need t o add ano ther IN6. Each s y nc b oard
can con nect i nto 2 ( or 3) MV720p. Exa mp l e: To sy n c 5 or 6 MV720p, you on l y ne ed t o add 1 more s y n c
board ( t o tal 2 s y nc boards).T o s y nc 9 MV720p, you need t o add 3 more s y nc boards (t o tal 4 s y nc boards).
