The remote
control is not
functioning.
The batteries are low
on energy.
Check and replace the batteries, if
necessary.
The batteries are
incorrectly inserted, or
there are no batteries
inside.
Check and ensure that two AAA size
batteries are inside the compartment
and that they are inserted and oriented
properly.
There is an obstacle
between the remote
and the display.
Remove the obstacle in the
transmission path.
The remote is too far
from the display.
Move closer to the display. Use the
remote within 6 metres of the display.
The remote is not
aimed at the sensor.
Make sure to aim the remote control at
the sensor at the front of the unit, near
the indicator light.
The disc
cannot be
played.
The disc is incorrectly
inserted.
Make sure to place the disc label-side-
up into the disc compartment.
The disc is unreadable.
Ensure the disc is not scratched or dirty.
Clean and reinsert the disc if necessary.
The disc format is not
supported.
Ensure that the disc has a format which
is compatible with the player (see
specifications, page 22)..
The system
stops when a
USB device or
memory card is
inserted.
The inserted USB
device or memory card
may be unauthorised.
This machine does not support
unauthorised USB devices or memory
cards. If the halted system is caused
by inserting unauthorised storage
equipment, turn off the player and
disconnect the power. Then plug it in
and start the player again.
