When turning your heater on for the first time it is normal for the heater to

emit a ‘new heater’ smell, which will quickly pass.

This is no cause for concern. Ensure good ventilation.

Battery replacement

If the battery in the remote control is empty, a new CR2032 (or equivalent)

battery needs to be inserted. Follow the instructions below, as illustrated.
•  Push the locking tab to one side (A) and

pull out the battery compartment (B).

•  Remove the battery from the remote

control.

•  Insert a new CR2032 button cell, making

sure the battery’s negative pole (-) faces

upwards.

•  Slide the battery compartment (B) back

into the remote control.

Set-up location requirements

•  Location: Place the heater on a firm, flat, stable, dry and heat-resistant

surface. Always choose a safe location, keeping in mind the safety
precautions on the previous pages.

•  Environmental conditions: The environmental temperature range for

safe operation of the heater is 0 to +40°C, and 5–75% humidity (no
condensation).

•  Clearances: Make sure to maintain the following minimum clearances

around the heater housing: 50cm above the heater, at the back and to the

sides, and 100cm to the front.

•  Connection: Plug the heater into an appropriate power outlet and switch

on power to the outlet. Always use a separate socket that has no other
appliances connected at the same – do not plug it into a power board or
socket adaptor; do not use an extension cord. Also ensure that the socket
is easily accessible so that the cord can readily be disconnected in an
emergency.
