DC power: 9V battery type 006P (not provided) for clock back-up system only.
An alkaline type battery is recommended. For optimum performance, this battery should be replaced every 6 months.
1. Insert the AC power cord (16) into a convenient standard AC wall outlet.
2. Connect the 9V battery inside the compartment at the bottom of the unit (14).
BACK-UP SYSTEM:
Ensures that the unit will continue to operate as normal during an AC power disruption (in order to preserve the
battery life the display will not light ). All clock settings will be kept in the memory, however, the clock time may require adjustment for
exact accuracy. If this battery is not installed, the display will blink
to indicate that you have to redo the time and alarm settings.

POWER SUPPLY
1. Follow the procedure in "LISTENING TO THE RADIO", to select your desired radio station.
2. Select the AUTO position (2). The Alarm indicator will alight (18 and / or 20).
3. Switch (1) to either AL 1, AL 2, or AL 1 + 2.
WAKE UP TO THE RADIO
This unit allows you to set two different wake up times which you can choose to use independently or simultaneously. AL 1 or AL 2, or
AL 1 and 2.
AL 1
- Switch (1) to AL 1 position. Press and hold the ALARM (8), and press or (9) to adjust your desired alarm time, then release
ALARM (8) to store your setting in memory.
AL 2
- Switch (1) to AL 2 position and redo the same operation as above.
Select your wake-up mode (2) in AUTO (for RADIO), BUZZER (for alarm sound) or OFF to switch off the alarm.
SETTING THE ALARM AND WAKE-UP MODE
The alarm is programmed to run for 59 min.
1. SNOOZE (6) : Press to stop the alarm temporarily, the alarm will ring again in 7 min.
2. STOP (4) : The alarm will stop, and will sound again 24 hours later.
3. OFF (2) : Turns off alarm permanently, alarm indicator will go off (18 and / or 20).
STOPPING THE ALARM
Select FM or AM (10) then press SLEEP (5), the sound will come on for 59 min. To change this sleep time, press and hold SLEEP (5),
and use or (9) to adjust to the desired time. To turn off the music earlier, press STOP (4).

LISTENING TO THE RADIO
1. Press and hold TIME (7) and press or (9) to adjust to your desired time.
2. Release TIME (7) to store your setting in memory.
