OK: Press to confirm a selection.

• 

MENU: Press to return to the main 

menu of a disc or DVD.

• 

PAUSE: Press to pause playback.

• 

VOL +: Press to increase the volume.

• 

MUTE: Press to mute the sound.

• 

VOL -: Press to decrease the volume.

• 

SLOW: Press to play the disc in slow 

motion, without sound. Press again to 

turn off the slow motion.

• 

RETURN: Press to return to the track 

list menu during playback, on any disc 

that is not a DVD.

• 

PROG: Press to program playback 

order.

• 

DVD/USB: Press to toggle between DVD 

and USB options.

• 

RESET: Press to reset settings

• 

PBC: Press to return to the main DVD 

menu.

• 

HD: Press to turn HD picture mode 

on and off or to switch the output 

resolution to 730P, 1080P etc.

INSTALLATION: 

Select a stable, flat surface close to your TV 

set to install the DVD player.

Do not install on top of a TV or monitor. 

Do not block the vents by placing the DVD 

player directly onto carpet, a bed, a sofa, or 

by covering it with a cloth.

Do not place any objects on top of the DVD 

player.

Do not move the DVD player during 

playback.

Do not install the DVD player and speaker 

system in any place that is:

• 

Exposed to direct sunlight.

• 

Extremely hot or cold.

• 

Poorly ventilated or exposed to 

humidity.

• 

Exposed to dust.

• 

Exposed to smoke, steam or heat (such 

as a kitchen or bathroom).

USING YOUR APPLIANCE:
CONNECTING WITH AN AV CABLE:

The AV cable has three connectors on each 

end – red and white RCA connectors that 

go into the corresponding L RCA and R RCA 

coloured sockets on the rear panel of the 

DVD player, and a yellow AV connector that 

goes into the video-in socket of the TV.

1.  Connect one end of the AV cable to 

the DVD player. Connect the red RCA 

connector to the red (R) RCA output 

socket, and the white RCA connector 

to the white (L) RCA output socket. 

Connect the yellow connector to the 

yellow video output socket.

2.  Connect the other end of the AV cable to 

your television; ensuring you insert the 

connectors correctly into the AV and 

RCA input sockets.

3.  Plug the DVD player in at the mains and 

turn on using the Standby button. 

4.  Turn your TV on. If the TV does not 

automatically show the DVD player 

loading screen, use your television 

remote to select the required input 

channel. 

5.  Use the eject button to open the loading 

tray in the DVD player and insert a DVD. 

Close the loading tray.
