USING YOUR APPLIANCE

REMOTE CONTROL SETUP:
• 

Remove the battery cover on the back 

of the remote control and insert 2 X 

AAA batteries (not supplied) and then 

close the cover.

• 

When using the remote control, 

please point the remitting port (at 

the top of the remote control) directly 

at the receiver window on the DVD 

player. 

• 

If the remote control will only function 

a short distance from the DVD player, 

replace the batteries. Always replace 

both batteries at once. 

• 

Check the batteries regularly. Any 

leakage can damage the remote 

control.

REMOTE CONTROL:
• 

STANDBY – Press to put the DVD 

Player on standby, or turn to it on.

• 

NUMBER BUTTONS: Use for entering 

numbers to choose DVD chapters, set 

the time etc.

• 

SETUP: Press to enter the Setup 

menu.

• 

UP: Press to move up through a step.

• 

LEFT: Press to move back a previous 

step.

• 

DOWN: Press to move down a step.

• 

TITLE: Press to open the selection 

menu of the DVD disc. Use the UP/

DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT arrow buttons 

to move through the menu. Press 

ENTER to confirm your selection.

• 

PLAY: Press to play a disc.

• 

L/R: For use with VCDs or DVCDs. 

Press to select left/right/stereo etc. 

For multi-output modes, press this 

button to switch between channels.

• 

STOP: Press to stop the playback.

• 

N/P: Toggle between AUTO/PAL/

NTSC.

• 

STEP: When playing DVD/SVCD/VCD 

discs press once to move to the next 

frame.

• 

REPEAT: Press repeat when watching 

a DVD to repeat the chapter, repeat 

the title or turn off repeat. 

• 

A-B: Press the A-B button at the point 

where you want to begin repeat play, 

and then press again at the point 

where you want to stop repeat play. 

The selected section will be repeated 

until you press clear.

• 

REV: Press to rewind quickly.

• 

FWD: Press to fast forward quickly.

• 

SKIP BACKWARD: Press to skip to the 

previous chapter or track.

• 

SKIP FORWARD: Press to skip to the 

next chapter or track.

• 

OPEN/CLOSE: Press once to eject the 

disc tray. Press again to close the disc 

tray.

• 

OSD: Press the OSD button repeatedly 

to cycle through different options of 

on-screen display.

• 

AUDIO: Select the right or left output 

option.

• 

ANGLE: Some discs have multiple 

angle options. Press the angle button 

repeatedly to cycle through different 

camera angles.

• 

SUBTITLE: If the disc is equipped with 

subtitles, press this button repeatedly 

to select a subtitle language, or to 

turn off the subtitles.
