After the firmware installation completes, you’ll be asked to

the computer,
wait for two seconds, and then start up again.

of the computer will not load the new firmware—click
Shut
Down
to initiate a complete ON/OFF power cycle to load the new firmware into the
hardware.
Other Software from AJA
Finally, install any AJA plug-ins required for 3rd-party software. For example:

If you use the T-TAP with Adobe Premiere or Adobe After Effects, you would go the AJA
website T-TAP support page and download the “AJA Mac Plug-ins for Adobe CS6”.

If you use Avid Media Composer, you will need to download AJA’s
Open I/O Plug-in for Avid
