ENGINE OIL LEVEL
All engines consume
a certain quantity of
oil. It is thus important
to check the oil level
at regular intervals or
before a long trip.
Do the check while
the engine is warm
and stopped.
Park the vehicle on a flat surface and stop the engine.
Wait a moment to allow the oil to go back to the oil
carter, so as to measure the exact quantity.
Remove the gauge and wipe it with a clean cloth. Put
it back by pushing it at maximum.
Then remove it and read the quantity of oil appearing
between the two marks. If the oil level is inferior to the
maximum limit, remove the filling cap (1) and
complete it with the specified oil (page 16).
Efficiently close the filling cap.
EVERY 5000 km, ENGINE OIL DRAIN

The engine should be
warm

Remove the filling cap
"1".
-
Remove the draining cap
"2" and let the oil drain.

Replace the drain joint.
-
-
- Tighten the drain cap.
- Fill with engine oil according to quantity (page 16)
- Check that the level is correct with the oil gauge.
- Correctly close the filling cap.
