Advanced operations

Locking the controls

(HOLD)

When carrying the player in a bag, the
HOLD function can be used to prevent
accidental pressing of the buttons.

Slide the HOLD/BEEP switch in the
direction of the arrow.

A yellow mark behind the switch becomes
visible, and all operation buttons except for
the switches on the rear side are disabled.

To release the HOLD function

Slide the HOLD/BEEP switch in the
direction opposite to the arrow.

sounds 

(BEEP)

Set the HOLD/BEEP switch to BEEP
OFF.

To turn on the beep sounds

Set the HOLD/BEEP switch to BEEP ON.
It is recommended you set the HOLD/BEEP
switch to BEEP ON, as many operations can
be confirmed by beep sounds.
