The CA-DW935M has two types of test mode: conventional CD test mode and new mechanism test mode.
1) Starting CD test mode
• Hold down the CD function key, and then plug the power cord into AC outlet: The CD test mode will start and "CD TES7"
will appear.
• Each time the CD function key is pressed thereafter, the CD test mode and mechanism test mode will alternate.
"CD TES7"
appears in CD test mode.
"MC TES7"
appears in mechanism test mode.

Note 1: If focus search continues for 10 minutes or more, the driver IC could generate heat and the protection circuit could
operate, resulting in no operation of CD player. In this case, turn power off, radiate heat for approx. 10 minutes, and
then restart the CD player.

• The following items can be checked in the mechanism test mode:
