8. First open the ashtray / storage compartment.
9. Using a dismantling tool from the side or by hand from the ashtray / storage compartment, release the
snapped-in veneering and lift it carefully. The gear shift knob or panel must not be dismantled. It is
suf• cient if the veneering is pushed slightly to the rear.
10. The ashtray / storage compartment can be released on the right and left sides using a screwdriver.
11. Remove the four indicated Torx T20 screws and take out the OEM radio. Disconnect the plug con-
nections.
