Winterizing and Storage
When storing your trailer for short or long periods,
use the same precautions as you would in your own
home in regard to perishables, ventilation, and rain
protection. In addition, for prolonged storage periods,
flush out all the drain lines and the holding tanks. Also
drain the entire water system including the water heater
and the water storage tank. Instructions for draining the
water system are explained in the following paragraphs
on winterizing
The main consideration in winterizing your trailer is
to guard against freeze damage to the fresh water
system, including lines, tank, and pump; the waste
drain system, including traps and tanks; the water
heater, and the batteries.

Winterization Procedure
First, you will need an adapter with an air regulator
to connect an air compressor to the city water inlet,
and you will need access to an air compressor. Refer
to
for component locations mentioned
throughout this procedure.
1
Level the trailer from side to side and front to rear.
2
Shut the water off to the water filtration system
and remove the pre-filter. Make sure you place a
container under the filter to catch any water that
drains from the filter lines; For instructions on
removing the pre-filter,

3
Stand the filter on its end (outlet down) and allow it
to drain. We recommend replacing the filter before
the beginning of each season. However, if the pre-
filter is new, it can be stored in a Ziploc bag in a
refrigerator.
4
Open the smart water faucet and allow water to
drain from the filtration system. The Acuva UV-LED
purifier system can be removed and stored indoors
above freezing temperatures. Refer to the Acuva
ArrowMAX 2.0 user’s manual at
5
Open all faucets.
6
Open all drain valves, including the drain valve on
the water heater and exterior water service valve.
7
Turn the water pump switch to the ON position to
expel water from the storage tank.
8
While the water is draining from the system, open
and flush the toilet-flushing valve. Operate the
shower head while holding it down inside the tub
and drain all water from the flexible hose.
9
Turn the pump switch OFF after removing all water
from the storage tank.
10
Disconnect the outlet hose from the water pump.
