2022 Interstate 24X

Carbon Monoxide (CO), moving parts, and electricity
can cause severe personal injury or death To reduce
exposure to these hazards, always disable AGS before
1 Sleeping in the vehicle, unless equipped with a
working Carbon Monoxide detector
2
Parking the vehicle in a garage or confined space.
3 Parking the vehicle for storage
4 Servicing the generator, batteries, or other
electrical appliances
5 Fueling the vehicle
WARNING
Exposure to carbon monoxide, moving parts, and
electricity hazards are possible due to unexpected
starting of generator while in Auto Start mode.
120-Volt Power
When you’re plugged into shoreline power or starting
your generator, 120-volt current is fed to an Automatic
Switch Over Box Power from the box runs to the
120-volt circuit breakers on the Energy Management
System
NOTE
Make sure to read, understand, and follow all
electrical component owner’s manuals provided
in the owner’s packet before operating the touring
coach. Observe all operating instructions and
Warnings as well as all recommended maintenance
schedules and procedures.
Automatic Generator Start
Your touring coach is equipped with an Automatic
Generator Start System (AGS) which provides an
optional automatic control of your onboard generator
The purpose of an AGS system is to automatically
start (and run) the generator when the 12 volt electrical
system (house batteries) drops to a pre-determined
level The AGS can be enabled to monitor the house
battery bank and when it reaches a certain level, the
generator will start, sending a charge to your batteries
This protects the system so that your batteries will not
drain further. Once the batteries receive a sufficient
amount of charge, the generator will automatically turn
off If you are staying in a location for an extended
period of time, this can help protect the battery bank
when shore power is not available You also have the
ability to set predetermined times so that it will not
start during the night or during posted quite times in a
campground
The automatic start function requires an electrical
safety signal input The input is connected to the
vehicle ignition system When the safety input signal
changes from off to on, or on to off, the genset
changes the operating mode to MANUAL This safety
feature prevents unexpected automatic starting of the
generator indoors or in confined spaces.
NOTE
If when “Auto Gen” is pressed, “ignition on & off”
is displayed, the safety signal input needs to be
reset by cycling the vehicles ignition.
When the safety input is functional, the display will
show “Enter for Auto” when the “Auto Gen” button is
pressed You can choose “AUTO ON” or “QUIET ON”
to set a time when the generator will not start Pressing
“ENTER” will enable the selected auto feature
NOTE
Do not select “AUTO ON” mode before carefully
reading and understanding the instructions
providing in the generators operating manual
provided in the owner’s packet.
