Sudden increase in boost pressure
A possible cause might be that the waste gate is fully closed. The TCU
CAUTION light may be flashing, indicating equipment failure. The BOOST
lamp will illuminate continuously when admissible boost pressure is
exceeded.
Immediately reduce engine speed / rpm until boost pressure is within
limits.
